The Spirit of the Americas Cup. The world’s oldest sporting trophy has returned to Europe for the first time in 150 years. To celebrate this EMG has created a unique corporate sailing event designed to offer the thrills and spills of high drama yacht racing and close competition, all in a single day!

We provide a “mother ship” capable of taking up to 40 passengers who will spectate while the other teams are battling it out on the race course. The race teams are made up of a maximum of 8 guests and each team will be rotated throughout the day as we go through the knockout competition on the race yachts.

We will use high speed RIB’s to transfer guests form the mother ship to the race yachts. Racing for the “your company” Cup, teams will take to the water aboard identical racing yachts with a professional skipper and crew. Each team will have a brief race training session followed by the first round of racing. The races will be short windward/leeward courses lasting no more than 30 minutes each.

This is a new concept for water based hospitality and team building events as it offers many things in one day, the hospitality of the “mother ship” while each team watches their rivals race, the excitement of Match Racing and the thrill of the high speed RIB’s. After a thrilling final on the water the boats return to land where the Champagne prize giving will take place in the Royal Lymington Yacht Club.

The event can be run for any size group and is not limited to racing in the Solent, alternative location are Scotland, London's Docklands and the South of France.
