The Da Vinci Code team building event is unique because the historical artefacts are unique to this event. These works of art have been ingeniously designed and created by a team of professional artists and sculptors. Each one holds secrets and clues that relate to the mystery facing your teams.

The Da Vinci Code Events are designed for everyone no matter whether you’ve read the book or not. For those who haven’t read the book the Da Vinci Code Events present an exciting adventure exploring secret codes in your search for the “Holy Grail” or “secret elixir of life”.

If you have read the book you may recognize the authentic encryption device called a “Cryptex” that you work with to crack the code. The Cryptex have been carved in walnut wood and brass by the same craftsman used for the Columbia Pictures film with Tom Hanks released earlier this year.

The Da Vinci Code Events are designed to be fun, while providing a unique opportunity for teams to share information to be successful. Your event can be a collaborative challenge to unite your teams towards a common goal or a competitive challenge to inspire powerful team performance.

Your teams become united in fascination because they are completely absorbed together in the murder investigation. This is achieved by using genuine works of art which hide genuine secrets. Instead of simply using their imagination teams must work with the reality in front of them. Working out how the clues fit together requires the input of every member of your team because the clues are hidden in very different ways. Some use word play, others require skilful observation, some require dexterity, and others benefit from attention to detail.

A professional compere, in the role of master cryptologist and close friend of the Museum Curator, presents you all with your challenge. Guests will discover, at their table, a Museum Guide for your team and a hand crafted Cryptex with its own unique cryptic code. There are a number of exhibits on show at your museum that hold the clues to ancient secrets. The information you are given in your museum guide and at each exhibit around the venue lead you to the clues you need to be able to crack the code to your Cryptex.

Some of the exhibits present detailed scenes from famous paintings with clues hidden from all but the most acute observer. Other exhibits present logical or ancient mathematical evidence that lead your team to reveal the hidden answers. When you have deciphered the clues from all of the exhibits and from the information you have gathered, your team will be able to use the cryptex to access the Chalice – the “Holy Grail” holding the “secret elixir of life.”

If you decide you’d like more of a competitive format then teams race to be the first to access the Chalice.

Teams will ideally be made up of 5 to 10 players but smaller or larger numbers can be accommodated. The Da Vinci Code Events team building activity will usually run for up to 3 hours depending on numbers and Itinerary.
