As close as it gets to replicating the America’s Cup – the Match Racing Academy lets corporate groups experience the thrills and spills of high drama yacht racing and close competition all in one day.
EMG, in partnership with Sunsail Racing, has created this unique sailing experience to offer Grand Prix style racing for amateurs and experienced sailors alike. The Match Racing Academy is the definitive way to engage your clients and team mates in a high-end sailing event. Onboard optimised Sunsail F40 racing yachts, with a professional World Match Racing Tour sailor on hand to demonstrate the best racing tactics, this is the closest you can get to the real thing.
The race teams will take to the water, each with a professional skipper and crew, and experience a race training session followed by the first round of racing (flights), with each round lasting no more than 20 minutes. Race teams then rotate throughout the day for this exhilarating knockout competition. At the end of the day’s racing teams will enjoy a Champagne prize giving at the Royal Lymington Yacht Club.
