Urban Jam Indoor Team Building Activity & Corporate Event

This corporate team building event brings the outside in! Bring your event to life, building team motivation  by turning your delegates into street dancers, musicians and graffiti artists. This is a high impact energiser event full of noise, movement and colour that includes a range of team activities, challenges and team development games.

To open the event our Urban Crew explodes into the room complete with brooms, dustbins and hard hats performing outrageous dance moves and infectious urban rhythms. Using body percussion, anything they can hit and vocal noises, we instantly create a pulsating groove, and perform for your guests delight.

After our high-energy performance, we transform your guests into street dancers, graffiti artists and a funky junk percussion group.

Teams rotate round each new skill where they meet their Urban Crew expert, they then experience a taster of what it takes to master that particular art and work as a team. When we think the group is ready to take on the Urban Jam challenge we raise the group’s energy to prepare and rehearse for the big performance at the end…. where, using their artistic creations as an urban back drop, we have a performance of their hypnotic junk music whilst other group members show their new street moves on top.

This dynamic and unique finale demonstrates total interaction and cooperation together but also guarantees the whole team leaving on a high with smiles on their faces.

Example Event Timings/ Activity Programme

10 am – Urban Jam Crew burst into room busting moves to infectious urban beats.

10.10 am – Briefing

10.15 am – Group splits into four zones and rotates:

Street dancing – Simple break dancing, body waves/ popping etc  

Graffiti – A backdrop would be made with either pen or spray.  This would be finished off with Tags added during the extravaganza

Junk Funk - funky grooves created from a lot of rubbish; Ladders, dustbins, traffic cones…this sounds great and is a ‘Stomp’ style part of the day!

Beat-boxing & Rapping – This is about what your people have to say. With the help of our expert, you create the vocal rhythms and write the words for your own company rap. (Launch of new product/Buzzword/etc)

11.15 – 11.30 am Cuppa Char (tea break)

11.30am – 12.30pm Rotation 2

12.30pm Lunch

1.30pm – Rotation 3

2.30pm – Rotation 4

3.30pm – Another Cuppa Char and rehearsals

4pm - Urban Jam extravaganza – guests ‘bling up’ (add costume) and do a phat performance to their crew – who’ll be lovin’ it large (perform to the delight of the other guests)
