EMG is delighted to have won the Bronze award for 'Best Website' at M&IT’s Meeting Industry Marketing Awards (MIMA).
Selected as finalists along with Universal World Events, Manchester United, Zibrant and the Sydney Convention Bureau, EMG were awarded with Bronze, with Silver going to Manchester United and the Sydney Convention Centre and Gold to Universal World Events. The Award was collected by EMG’s Marketing Manager, Julia Browne.
The MIMA awards were launched in 2002 to raise the standards of marketing in the meetings and events industry. Each award is judged by an independent panel - made up of meetings industry experts, marketeers and leading buyers. Scoring criteria includes clarity of objectives, campaign strategy, creativity, campaign execution, use of budget and return on investment.
EMG's website was relaunched in October 2011 to better represent EMG as it is today - a full service Event Management Company delivering a full suite of events both on and off the water. As well as good use of budget, planning and a strategy founded on user experience, EMG’s Event Wizard, a unique interactive tool featured on the website which recommends events to users based on objectives and requirements, helped it to stand out from the crowd and secure a place against strong competition.
