EMG was born on the water and has been managing Corporate Regattas and Company Sailing Days for over 20 years.
Our Corporate Sailing Regattas and Company Sailing Days are designed to give participants the experience of taking part in a sailing regatta but are suitable for all ages, abilities and levels of experience. Most participants for a typical corporate sailing event will have never sailed before.
We race with a fully qualified skipper and a mate on each yacht to ensure that participants get the absolute maximum from the day. Having a core professional crew means we can devote time to each crew member. It is amazing how quickly absolute novices start to look like pros!
EMG's crews all have extensive corporate charter experience. An ability to communicate both professionally and socially with guests ensures that we maintain a safe and enjoyable, yet competitive atmosphere on board.
We always race matched boats to give every team an even chance. We select the fleet to match the event, objectives and budget. Please talk to us to find out more about sail wardrobes and our spinnaker policy.
Alongside the matched boats EMG uses safety Ribs and a Committee Boat complete with Race Officer to focus on course setting and the racing. Our racing is run to high standards providing guests with a true regatta experience, with an emphasis on having fun in a safe environment.
This is a wonderful day, ideal for clients as well as staff and remembered long afterwards. We run multiple tight windward/leeward courses that encourage close competitive racing between identically matched yachts. The exciting battles for the start line and first mark are often the topic of hot conversation post event!
If the boat versus boat competitive spirit appeals but you fancy a boat with an engine instead, take a look at our Rib Treasure Hunt.
