If you're looking for an energising couple of hours for your guests, then the Haka is perfect!
Traditionally the Haka was used as a war dance for the indigenous Maori people of New Zealand, and more recently for the New Zealand 'All Blacks' rugby team. During a Haka session, our Maori instructor will generate all the passion and energy needed to perfect the art of this war dance.
Guests will be shown how this powerful dance is done the Maori way, and then, it's their turn to take to the stage. Not only will guests learn the words and meaning to this awe inspiring chant, our instructors will show them how to apply the 'moko' which is the traditional war paint applied to the face.
Large groups will be split into teams and taken into separate areas to learn the dance and words to the Haka. Once guests master this art, and dress up in the traditional costume with their 'moko' applied, they will all come back together to perform the Haka as one united group making a truly spectacular display.
Another awesome ice breaker perfect for meetings and conferences is our Drumming Workshop.
